Carbon Motors Corp. will visit the Clemson University International Center for Automotive Research next week as it considers where to locate a facility it said will create 10,000 jobs and have a $3 billion economic impact.
The Atlanta company designed an alternative energy concept car called the Carbon E7 that is built specifically for law enforcement.
The company also is determining where to build its vehicles. The company's site will recreate 10,000 direct and indirect jobs and have a $3 billion economic impact during a 10-year period, said Chairman and CEO William Santana Li.
Carbon Motors will have a press conference at 1 p.m. Dec. 8 at the AT&T Auditorium within the Carroll A. Campbell Graduate Engineering Center at CU-ICAR, 4 Research Drive, Greenville.
