Recently, Tanya and I were contacted by a reporter to be featured in a local magazine. I will provide more news about the article once it goes to the publisher. It is set for a March release. I'm excited about it. March is when I turn 41 years old! It will also be the first one without my dad. I wasn't really looking forward to it.
Anyway, I got up this morning put on my clothes. I wore a blue sweater set and chocolate brown slacks. Tanya had on a brown/cream striped blouse with black slacks. We were coordinating. The colors that we had on are actually our company colors.
It was real interesting posing for a professional photographer. Josh Norris photographs Miss South Carolina. He was really fun to work with. With me being a big fan of America's Next Top Model, I thought this was so cool. I am 5'10 so everyone used to always tell me I should be a model! After all of this hard work today, I'm glad that I wasn't. Josh was saying things like 'I need really long necks-push your chin out and look at me like, I got a secret!' My secret was give me a house to stage, this is hard work!
Tanya is 5'6 and I'm 5'10 (without wearing heels)- today I had them on! Josh had us stand back to back. Since I am so tall, I actually had to stand with my legs 3ft apart so it would look like Tanya and I were the same height. Why didnt she wear heels?
I wish I had the photo to show you guys. just trust me when I say...We were the plus size versions of Naomi Campbell and Tyra Banks!
